Welcome to Our Page

I am so excited to be living in a new and wonderful place with the most amazing man ever! We are so happy but at the same time miss our family and friends so I wanted to create a blog to keep everyone up to date with our lives as we are so far away now. I will try to post on here as often as I can I promise!

Early Thursday Morning (Happy Birthday Dad & Grandma!)

Jeremy had his first show in Spain tonight (or last night for him as he is 8 hours behind west coast time), as always there were problems with his wireless that he uses for the guitar players but of course he resolved them before the show. Tonight is also the first night on the buses which will be how they get around for most of the tour. I wish I had more details but as he has not had internet we only talk 1-2 times a day and have to keep it to about 5-10 minutes and most of that time is spent with me running my mouth!
As for me, I am working as a hostess at an upscale Indian restaurant right in our neighborhood, it takes me about 2 minutes to walk there. I have been promised a serving position after a few weeks of hostessing but after just a couple nights working, I remember how much I hated waiting tables! But the owner seems to really like me and offered me more hours tonight which I gladly accepted. I am also looking for another job for during the day, nothing promising yet but I did sign up this morning at a casting company to do extra work. You call in each day and listen to recordings of the work available and if you think you match the description, you call in and the casting director looks up your picture in a database and decides if you fit what they want. I am hoping to do this as it pays about the same as a day waiting tables but is way easier and more interesting! Tomorrow I have an interview at a hospital so if all goes well I will secure a spot in the residency program that starts in August.
Thats all for now, I miss Jeremy lots..
